Judy was employed by the Snelling franchise as an Executive Recruiter in Healthcare Information Systems prior to purchasing the Orlando, Florida franchise in 1994. In addition to overseeing operations and managing the company, Judy continues to recruit and has received numerous awards. She has presented at HIMSS, CHIME and MUSE.

She served on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society and on the Advisory Board for the Florida Hospital’s Women’s Center in Altamonte Springs, Florida. In addition to CHIME, Judy is a member of HIMSS.

Judy has a BA in Psychology. She and her family love to travel and have been to six continents and over fifty countries. Judy is also an avid skier and scuba diver.

Steven P. Kirby, CPC, CTS

Steve is the co-owner of Snelling Personnel Services with his wife Judy. They have owned the franchise since April of 1994.

Steve worked for a division of Johnson & Johnson for 17 years in manufacturing plants in New Jersey and North Carolina and then back to corporate headquarters in New Jersey. He gained experience in operations, scheduling, purchasing, materials management, planning and finally sales and marketing.

Steve has also served as the President of a small publicly traded company in Orlando and Director of Operations for an international manufacturing company.

Education: B.A., Chemistry, University of Pennsylvania

Background

Judy and Steve have two adult children, Heather and Bryan. Family time is one of the most important aspects of their lives, and the entire family has enjoyed traveling together to 5 continents, hiking, camping, snow skiing, and scuba diving. Personally Steve enjoys all of the above, in addition to biking, golfing, and photography.

Judy and Steve have a goal to visit all 7 continents (having reached 6 at this time). Among some of their more exciting trips has been a 3 week trip to New Zealand, a trip to Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Thailand, a 7 night rafting trip in the Grand Canyon (twice), a trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, a sail boat journey that included Turkey and Greece, travel to Costa Rica, a trip to Chile and Argentina, a trip to Australia and an extended trip to South Africa. In the summer of 2007 Steve took a 4200 mile bicycle trip with his son across the United States from Washington State to Maine, taking 59 days.
